We'll discuss the weekly learning topic using the whiteboard or conversation groups. There are handouts and tipsheets with most topics so you can review later.
The aim is to increase your heart rate and get that blood pumpin'! This is a fun game, with little to no equipment required and can be done right there in your sitting room!
We'll be preparing easy snacks and meals that always have kid friendly tasks to do! Check the schedule for this week's recipe and ingredient list so you can be ready to follow along at home!
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Who is this for?
As with any Healthy Together session we'd like to say ANYONE! Anyone that has an interest in making healthy lifestyle choices!
The program is specifically targeted towards families with children aged 0-12y, and youth aged 13-18y. It's a great option for home-schooling! The idea is for participate together - caregiver and child. However if your little one isn't interested then join us anyway and pick up some activity ideas for later! Youth can learn some great tools and knowledge of healthy choices and we can easily cater activities to suit the varying ages.
It's also a great opportunity for facilitators to see the program in action. Whether you're already a trained Healthy Together facilitator, or are interested in taking the training to become a certified facilitator it's an ideal time to find out more about the program.
2. When is it happening?
Every Thursday at 10am Pacific / 1pm Eastern
(we'll take a break over the holiday / New Year season - check the schedule to know exact dates).
3. How much does it cost?
It's completely FREE! No pre-registration required - just click on the zoom link and join us at the set time, as little or as often as you'd like!
